Who are Medieval Livery?

Medieval Livery was born in June 2014. It started with me taking an interest in the badges worn by Les Routiers De Rouen. I was asked if I could make a badge to match the others currently in use by the group. That request lead to several more requests, and interest quickly grew. Medieval Livery now makes badges and apparel for many groups world-wide.

We make banners, badges, surcoats and flags for re-enactors of all time periods. All items are handmade to your specification, using your choice of materials (commonly wool, linen and silk).

Personally crafted badges and emblems from all periods.

All badges are hand-stiched and can be made to any size required, to be used as either breast or back livery emblems. We will happily work from any reference picture you can provide. These are commonly photo's of existing badges, or digital re-creations.

Working along side our associate Neil Elverson, we are able to supply clothing which is also bespoke and made to order. We work together to provide a finished artical of clothing with livery attached, ready to be worn.

Hand sewn stitching is very detailed, giving the symbols - the fleur de lys and the lion - a "3-D" effect. The maker is very talented and a genuine artist in her craft. The size of the surcoat, both length and width, is a perfect fit. Will definitely show it off at medieval events!
